I feel like I should have something monumental to say, which is probably why every attempt I’ve made at a blog (this would be 4) has been a miserable failure. That and the time thing – I barely have time to eat and sleep much less type.
At any rate, since I have a day off, today is as good a day as any.

OK. This is going to take some work.
Writer’s block isn’t supposed to set in when you’re not a writer. I guess I can’t get past the fact that someone out there is reading this….or maybe not.
We had a fantastic cookout last night, aside from the fact that I felt like crap and was ready to crawl into bed by 9:30. J invited some former students, which is fine, but one of them brought her BF, who thought he was god’s gift to the world of university residential assistants…right – like WHO CARES?? All in all, much food was eaten, beer was drunk, and it was a nice way to spend a Sunday evening. Today hasn’t been much of a day, just lazy. I guess I have to go back to classes tomorrow and deal with the event-from-h*&& some more…at least I know that is over at the end of the month, and I can bask in the remainder of my second year of grad school in antisocial peace.
At some point I need to do something for the wine club, too – Madame President has quite a following but nothing for the followers to do.

As soon as I get this out of my head, I promise I’ll have better things to say….bear with me….
